SIDNE

SIDNE

French painter, born in Paris in 1978.

Along with MOZE, he is one of the most significant artists on the Parisian scene in the 90s – together they marked the golden period of Belleville trucks. Always in a figurative syle, SIDNE deconstructs, reforms and gives life to the legendary BBoys, inherited from the style of New York graffiti. With a stroke of the pencil he retakes this character.

A multi-technical and visual artist, SIDNE works drawing, canvas, screen-printing, t-shirt and installations as well. In 2019, the MUCEM (Marseille) acquires for its permanent graffiti collection a train that is more than 2m long and painted with graffitis, built by SIDNE, where each detail is accurately taken from reality. Many of his works are also in the collection of Agnès b., who from the early 2000s was not mistaken about his talent.
